Chairman of the Board

Dr. Zhuang Dan is a distinguished leader in the optical fiber communication industry and currently serves as Executive Director and President of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC). He is also a deputy to the 13th National People’s Congress of Hubei Province. 

Dr. Zhuang earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Wuhan University in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He completed his doctorate at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 1998 and obtained a postdoctoral certificate from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2001. 

Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Zhuang has received the prestigious State Council Special Government Allowance and has been honored as an Outstanding Entrepreneur in China’s Optical Fiber Communication Industry and a Model Worker of Wuhan City. 

Dr. Zhuang has been serving as Chairman of the Company since August 2022, bringing visionary leadership and a wealth of experience to guide its strategic growth. 

General Manager

Mr. Tang Jinkuan holds a Master’s degree in Physical Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He brings extensive experience in engineering, product management, and executive leadership. 

Mr. Tang began his career at VIA Technologies (China) Co., Ltd., where he held roles as Hardware System Engineer, Manager, and Product Line Director. He later took on leadership positions at EverPro (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd., serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager. 

In addition, Mr. Tang played a pivotal role at Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC), where he served as General Manager of the Optical Module Product Line and Deputy General Manager of the Diversified Business Unit. 

Since August 2022, Mr. Tang has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors. In January 2024, he was appointed as the company’s General Manager, where he continues to drive innovation and strategic growth. 

Deputy General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary of the Board of Directors

Mr. Liang Guanning holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Sun Yat-sen University and is a senior member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has a wealth of experience in auditing, financial management, and corporate governance. 

Mr. Liang began his career as an Audit Manager at KPMG, working in both China and Singapore. He subsequently held senior financial management roles at GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. and Sina Weibo. He also served as Financial Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) and as Deputy General Manager at Shenzhen Appotronics Co., Ltd. 

In July 2022, Mr. Liang joined the company as Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer. In May 2023, he assumed the additional role of Secretary of the Board of Directors, further strengthening the company's leadership team. 

Deputy General Manager

Ms. Zhou Rongrong holds a Master’s degree and is a Senior Economist with extensive expertise in human resources and organizational management across various industries. 

She began her career as a civil servant with the Commercial Bureau of Jinchang District, Suzhou City. She later held managerial roles in human resources at Black & Decker (Suzhou) Power Tools Co., Ltd., Andrew (China) Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and Wyeth White House (Suzhou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 

Ms. Zhou went on to serve as Human Resources Director for prominent organizations, including SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd., American Standard Sanitary Ware Asia Pacific Integrated Supply Chain, Tyco Electronics Global Automotive Business Unit Asia Pacific, and Ningbo Huaxiang Electronics Co., Ltd. 

In 2017, she joined Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) as Human Resources Director. Since October 2023, Ms. Zhou has been serving as the company’s Deputy General Manager, contributing her expertise to drive organizational excellence.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Optoelectronics Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, Junming managed the Technical and Quality group at Jiangsu Allray Optical Communications Co. He joined Broadex Technologies in 2004.

R&D Director

Before joining Broadex Technologies in 2019, Henk worked at Kaiam, Gemfire, Avanex, Alcatel Optronics and Kymata. Earlier, he had co-founded BBV software and BBV design, which were acquired by Kymata in 2000. He has been awarded over 20 patents. Henk has a PhD in Fluid Dynamics and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics, both from the University of Twente, Netherlands. He also has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, USA.

General Manager UK

Duncan is the General Manager of our planar light circuit (PLC) silica-on-silicon wafer fabrication plant. Before taking this role in 2019, he managed the Engineering and Operational functions under Gemfire and Kaiam ownership. He started his career at NEC Semiconductors, before becoming Wafer Process Engineering Manager at MicroEmissive Displays, and has more than 20 years’ experience in silicon-wafer engineering. Duncan has a PhD in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
